My name is Chris Giunta, and I was born and raised in New Jersey. After graduating from Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia in 2009, I began my career with a State Farm Agent in the Philadelphia area. Insurance and financial services quickly became my passion because I saw firsthand how the right coverage can help protect families, businesses, and the things they work hard for.

More About Me

I graduated from Monroe Township High School in Monroe Township New Jersey in 2005. I married my wonderful wife Lauren in 2013, and together we’re raising three amazing kids — Brayden, Brody, and Brielle — along with our two adopted cats, Tucker and Lexi. My family is my world, and when I’m not helping customers, I love spending time traveling and enjoying family vacations. During the summer, you’ll often find us relaxing on the beaches of the Jersey Shore, or spending time outside together, while winter weekends are often spent snowboarding and skiing in the Poconos.

Today, I serve customers across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, and Maryland, assisting individuals, families, and small business owners with their insurance needs. My goal is to educate customers about their options and help them select coverage that fits their individual situation.

Our State Farm office is located in Northeast Philadelphia, and we work with customers throughout Philadelphia County, Bucks County, Montgomery County, Delaware County, Chester County, and surrounding communities. We also assist customers relocating to or between Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, and Maryland.

Our office is licensed to write insurance in:

  • Pennsylvania

  • New Jersey

  • New York

  • Delaware

  • Maryland

Coverage options and requirements vary by state.

Do you offer insurance assistance in multiple languages?

Yes. Our team provides assistance in:

  • English

  • Spanish

Can you help if I live in one state and drive or work in another?

Yes. We assist customers who live, work, or own property in different states. Coverage considerations may depend on where you reside, where your vehicle is registered, and where it is primarily garaged or used.

How often should insurance coverage be reviewed?

Insurance coverage is commonly reviewed:

  • Once per year

  • After moving

  • After purchasing a vehicle or home

  • After major life events such as getting married or having a child

  • After employment changes

  • After starting or expanding a business

Back-to-School & Life Insurance FAQs:

Should I review my auto insurance before the school year begins?

The start of a new school year may bring changes to your household’s driving routines. Consider reviewing your auto insurance if:

  • A teen driver recently received a license

  • A student will drive to school or college

  • A vehicle will be kept at a different address

  • Your daily commute or vehicle use has changed

  • You purchased or replaced a vehicle

Contact our office to discuss how these changes may affect your insurance.

What should families consider when adding a teen driver?

When a new driver joins the household, insurance considerations may include:

  • Which vehicles the driver will use

  • Where and how often the vehicles are driven

  • Available coverage limits and deductibles

  • Eligibility for available discounts

Discounts, eligibility requirements, and coverage options vary by state and policy.

What insurance should college students consider?

A student’s insurance needs may change when moving into a dorm, apartment, or other off-campus housing. Depending on the situation, it may be helpful to review:

  • Auto insurance and where the vehicle will be kept

  • Renters insurance for personal belongings and liability

  • Coverage for laptops, electronics, and other valuables

  • Whether the student remains covered under a parent or guardian’s policy

Coverage depends on the policy, living arrangement, location, and other eligibility requirements.

Do students living off campus need renters insurance?

Renters insurance may help provide coverage for personal belongings and certain liability claims, subject to policy terms, limits, and exclusions. Some landlords may also require tenants to carry renters insurance.

Our team can explain available coverage options for students renting an apartment or house.

Why is back-to-school season a good time to review life insurance?

The beginning of a new school year often gives families an opportunity to revisit their finances and future plans. A life insurance review may be helpful if you have:

  • Welcomed a child

  • Purchased a home

  • Changed jobs or income

  • Taken on new financial obligations

  • Started saving for a child’s education

  • Experienced another major family change

Life insurance may help provide financial support for loved ones if the unexpected happens. Coverage options, costs, and eligibility depend on individual circumstances and policy terms.

How much life insurance might my family need?

Life insurance needs are different for every household. Factors to consider may include:

  • Income replacement

  • Monthly housing or rent payments

  • Outstanding debts

  • Childcare and everyday living expenses

  • Future education expenses

  • Burial expenses

  • Existing savings and insurance coverage

Chris Giunta and his team can help you explore available life insurance options based on your needs and goals.

Should I review life insurance provided through my employer?

Employer-provided insurance is great, but the amount of coverage may not meet every family’s long-term needs. It may also change or end if you leave your job.

Reviewing your insurance at work alongside individually owned life insurance can help you better understand your overall coverage.

Should I review my homeowners or renters insurance after summer?

An end-of-summer review may be helpful if you:

  • Completed renovations or home improvements

  • Added a deck, fence, pool, shed, or other structure

  • Purchased electronics, furniture, or other valuable property

  • Had someone move into or out of the home

  • Moved to a new apartment or rental property

Coverage depends on the cause of loss, policy terms, limits, and exclusions.

What should I consider when storing a motorcycle, boat, or RV after summer?

Before placing a seasonal vehicle or watercraft into storage, consider reviewing:

  • Current coverage and deductibles

  • Storage location and security

  • Protection against risks such as theft or physical damage

  • Whether the vehicle or watercraft will still be used occasionally

  • Any lender or registration requirements

Avoid changing or canceling coverage without first considering the potential financial and legal effects. Availability and coverage requirements vary by state and policy.
